The Passivhaus Institute have now released a new version of the Passivhaus Planning Package, called version 7. New features include:
- Verification now includes new certification criteria for residential buildings and EnerPHit,
- Windows and Wintype tabs have more parameters
- Ventilation can now handle multiple MVHRs through the Additional Vent tab, which is very handy for terraces, flats or commercial buildings
- Combined HP can now handle mutliple heat pumps
- Boilers includes more condensing boilers
- Climate Data now includes BRE’s regional climate data, which has been approved by the PHI for some time.
- An import/export facility which allows all data entry to be summarised in a small, easily emailable export file
- extra lines for many sheets.
The new version is available from the AECB at £150 http://www.aecb.net/carbonlite/phpp.php and we will be encouraging all our clients to use it!
