air testing
An air test will determine the air leakage for your building.
This can be used for Passivhaus and Part L compliance.
An air test is especially useful when combined with thermography because a leak of warm air can easily be identified on the thermal photographs
thermography
Thermal photographs can identify the warmer external areas of your building and therefore where the building is losing most heat.
These hot spots will correspond to cold spots on the interior which can lead to condensation.
coheating
Co heating involves recording the energy required to heat a building to a constant internal temperature over a week period. Several other values are recorded such as the sun’s intensity, outdoor temperature, actual air leakage of the building etc…
After some analysis we can tell you the true heat loss through the fabric of the building. This can then be compared to the design prediction or to other buildings. Download our A4 information sheet on Coheating:
