AECB Carbonlite is finalising a Certified Passive House Designer programme specifically for the UK. The program will be launched in July 2011 and delivered by UK professionals with Passivhaus experience.
The CarbonLite Designer course offers the following benefits:
- Courses are developed specifically for the UK, and use UK building examples.
- The programme is delivered using a mixture of lectures, group and individual learning, with take-away exercises to continually afirm and test understanding.
- The full programme can be taken as an intensive course or spread out as individual modules to suit your needs. The courses & exam will be delivered on a regular basis with small groups.
- Relevant courses previously completed under the CarbonLite scheme will contribute towards the qualification.
The training is still under development, but it is expected that the course fees will be competitive with other UK CEPH courses and will be roughly equivalent to 10 days training.
